| Photosolid® is the hand jitter correction technology for digital images utilizing the motion detection of our own development.
Photosolid® is fully based on software image processing and thus can work as an image stabilizer solution without any mechanical structure.
Our technology provides highly accurate motion blur correction for images shot under various situation, which are difficult to correct with existing technologies. |

PhotoSolid® |
 |
| PhotoSolid® is an image stabilization technology based on Morpho’s exclusive motion detection algorithm. SoftGyro® is purely image processing, thus requires neither mechanical motion sensors nor lens/CCD adjustors.
It is also more robust and flexible than conventional methods, making it more applicable to difficult, real-world situations. |

Handheld shooting with cameras is a struggle with hand jitters. Without a tripod stand, even experienced photographers are under the risk of taking blurry photos when shooting distant subjects. Image stabilization is the technology to minimize such disappointment. It is beginning to be recognized as the key-selling feature of digital cameras and camera phones, especially as the cameras get cheaper (more camera beginners) and smaller (more likely to cause hand jitters). |

 |
| PhotoSolid® works by first taking rapid low-exposure shots and passing them to our proprietary motion detector SoftGyro®. The computed motion vectors are then used to adjust and overlay input images together to render the final sharp and bright image.
Because PhotoSolid® is solely straightforward image processing, it takes up no physical space, whereas mechanical solutions are always limited by their physical size and complexity. This is a significant advantage when embedding the engine into small devices such as compact digital cameras and cell phones.
Though PhotoSolid® is already very fast and memory efficient as is, hardware assistance of its core image operations will boost its performance even further.
SoftGyro® takes into account six degrees of freedom in motion. It can also perform well under extreme camera movements. Thus the robustness of PhotoSolid® is the key to high quality output, even under problematic situations such as macro, telephoto, and night-time shootings. |
