“Morpho Dual Camera Solutions” is a software that estimates the depth from images taken with a dual camera system and generates images with natural bokeh effects. Since blurring is performed based on the estimated depth, it can create good quality photos with realistic blur effects like those taken with a single-lens reflex camera.

It can also provide a calibration environment for dual cameras.
It is possible to eliminate the need for calibrating all devices in the factory. Calibration is performed using the reference device, and the calibration information is loaded to other terminals.
Bokeh (blur) functions for CPU, GPU, and HVX are available. Optimal blur level can be selected on the platform.
Depth refinement processing using AI enables higher accuracy of depth, especially in scenes where people are present.

Product Details

“Morpho Dual Camera Solutions” is a software that estimates scene depth from images taken with a dual-camera device and generates natural blur images. It is possible to generate highly accurate blurred images by estimating depth using image pairs, and refining it using AI.
In addition, it is possible to provide a calibration environment for a dual camera device. We provide a graphical calibration chart, and a calibration processing engine. Calibration boxes, Android applications, and Microsoft Windows computer-tools can also be provided for assessment.
It is also possible to eliminate the need for factory calibration by performing multiple calibrations in advance and using the calculated parameters for all units. It is realized by using Morpho’s proprietary technology, which enables depth estimation without using exact calibration parameters.
